Follow the streets of small untouched by time Strandja villages to see centuries-old houses, churches and chapels, witness of the pride and the faith of the Strandja people. 	- pick up at one of the above mentioned collection points - drive through Strandja mountain with deluxe car / minibus with AC - sightseeing in the villages of Stoilovo, Brashlyan, Kosti, the town of Malko Turnovo and the areas of Kachul and Kovach along the Veleka river, incl. museum tickets and fees - snack in Kovach and full mid-day meal in Kosti - return to the point of pick up

Tour itinerary:

Stoilovo

** drive to get there: 30-50 minutes; stay: 1 hour

• tour of old Strandja houses
• visit of the village church "St. Ilia", monument of culture
• drive to Dokuzak area, beautiful area along the coasts of the Dokuzak river
• observe the impressing waterfalls and the fulling mills on the river
• see bushes of the endangered plant Crimean tea
• have a small snack with a cup of tea
• learn how the local people knit baskets of hazel sticks

Brashlyan

** drive to get there: 30-40 minutes; stay: 1 hour

• tour of old Strandja houses, the best preserved in Strandja (Brashlyan is declared an architectural-historical reserve)
• visit the ancient "St. Dimitar" church, monument of culture
• go through the Museum of Farming - an open museum
• see the big ethnographic collection of the village
• try weaving on a loom

** drive to get there: 20-30 minutes; stay: 1 hour

• enjoy the interesting landscape and the beautiful view of the river
• walk through the Kovach open zoo
• short snack at one of the ethnographic complexes

** drive to get there: 30-40 minutes; stay: 1.5 hours

• tour of the Museum of history featuring a big collection exhibited in 5 Strandja houses
• visit of the "Assumption" church
• visit of the "Holy Trinity" church
• tour of the Museum of Natural Sciences featuring a nice collection of various items connected with the nature of Strandja mountain, presented in modern interactive way
• drink from the water of the two healing springs "Golemia vris" and "Malkia vris"

• enjoy the interesting landscape and the quietness of the forest
• have a look at the villas of the local hunting and game-breeding reserve
• relax on the coast of Veleka river
